All staff, Fellows and Old Members (with a guest) are invited to join us for a weekend of events in College to thank and extend best wishes to Sir Ivor and Lady Crewe. Sir Ivor retired last year after twelve distinguished years as Master of University College, Oxford. We look forward to welcoming you to what promises to be an occasion to remember.

Programme
Saturday, 24 July
1-2pm: Private drinks reception for 2020 Leavers with Sir Ivor and Lady Crewe
2-5pm: Garden party – join Sir Ivor and Lady Crewe for afternoon tea in the Fellows’ Garden
Children are welcome to attend.

Sunday, 25 July
Tours will be taking place throughout the morning, starting at 10am, and you are welcome to attend any of these. Because tour spots are limited, please book early to avoid disappointment.
10am and 11am: Tour of Radcliffe Camera and surrounding area with Oliver Cox (2006, History), Heritage Engagement Fellow at the University of Oxford
10am and 11am: Old Members’ city tour: a literary tour of Oxford with Alastair Lack (1964, History), presenter, producer, editor and manager for over 27 years for the BBC World Service
10am and 11am: College tours with Dr Robin Darwall-Smith (1982, Classics), College Archivist and author of A History of University College, Oxford
10am and 11am: Univ North tours with Gordon Cox, Development Director and Fellow
12-4pm: BBQ in the gardens at the Staverton Road annexe (Univ North) with Sir Ivor and Lady Crewe

Children are welcome to attend and large garden games will be available for their enjoyment.

 No charge for Fellows, staff, current students and 2020 Leavers, so please use the appropriate code (included in the e-invite) to book your free tickets.

Accommodation

There will be accommodation available in College and this can be booked on a first-come first-served basis by clicking here.

N.B. This event will go ahead subject to Government restrictions being lifted. Unfortunately in the event of the celebration being cancelled, we are unable to offer refunds.
