Staircase12 website award

Staircase12 logoThe team behind Univ’s Staircase12 website for 14-18 years old will be receiving an award from the University’s IT Services department.

The OxTALENT Competition celebrates and rewards the innovative use of technology in teaching, learning, research, and outreach at Oxford.
Jane Lewis, Schools Liaison and Access Officer, said:

“I’m absolutely thrilled that www.staircase12.org will be receiving an OxTalent award later this month! We’re really proud of the work that’s gone into this project so far, and we’re delighted that it’s gained this recognition in the University. From here on, Staircase12 will have an integral role in Univ’s schools and access work, not only allowing us to reach a much bigger audience via the internet, but also by complementing and extending the work we do with school students who we meet in person. We are also planning further developments to Staircase12, so watch this space!”

The annual OxTALENT “Red Carpet” awards ceremony will be held on Wednesday 18th June.
