Dr Ben Jackson’s, Leslie Mitchell Tutorial Fellow in Modern History and Associate Professor of Modern History, new book, The Case for Scottish Independence, was launched at a special online event on 15 October.

The event included a discussion about the book and the wider issues it raises about the history and politics of Scotland and the UK – In addition to Ben Jackson, those taking part were: Lise Butler, Lecturer in Modern History, City University, chair; Scott Hames, Lecturer in Scottish Literature, Stirling University; Rory Scothorne, a PhD student in Scottish History, Edinburgh University.
