Staff travel survey

The Sustainability Committee are conducting a survey of all Univ staff to collect information about how they travel to the College as well as to gather thoughts in light of future changes such as the proposed expansion of the Zero Emission Zone.

One purpose of this survey is to provide the data needed to estimate the College’s greenhouse gas emissions; this will give us a baseline for future comparison and help us identify ways that the College can become more sustainable. The survey asks staff members to estimate the average number of times per month between 1 August 2021 and 31 July 2022 that they travelled to University College and the transport method(s) used.

The survey should take around 5-10 minutes to fill in and can be completed even by staff who rarely or never travel to Univ, or if walking or cycling is the usual means of travel; this will help us collect accurate data.

Please check for the email, sent on Wednesday 15 June, to follow the survey link by Friday 12 August and help to shape the future of sustainability at Univ.

If you have any questions, or can’t locate the email and link please contact Eleanor.Chamings-Manley@univ.ox.ac.uk
