Library update for Michaelmas

Library University College OxfordThe Library team is looking forward to welcoming both new and returning students for Michaelmas term. We have been working hard behind the scenes to set up a library service that keeps everyone safe while continuing to support the academic life of the College.

On the 28 September, the New Library will re-open as a study space. Social distancing means that numbers will be limited, so there will be two sittings a day (Monday to Friday) to make sure that everyone gets a chance to use the space.

Our click-and-collect service will continue throughout Michaelmas term, and the Library team will be available to help with any queries relating to reading lists, online resources or other research. We have re-allocated a portion of our book budget so that we will be able to purchase more electronic books during the coming term.

We’ll continue to adapt our Library service to meet the changing needs of our community over the coming months and look forward to seeing everyone, either in person or virtually, again soon.

For comprehensive documentation and information relating to COVID-19 and the measures put in place by College, please see our Intranet.
