Celebrating 775 Years of Univ

Univ Radcliffe Quad2024 promises to be a year to remember as we celebrate the 775th anniversary of the College. Ever since the College was endowed by William of Durham in 1249, each generation of Univ scholars and academics has benefited from the opportunity to pursue their studies and research at Oxford, as well as teaching the next generation of scholars. The generosity of our benefactors has played an important role in ensuring that Univ continues to thrive as a centre for academic excellence, and as a welcoming and diverse community. Our benefactors’ support – past and present – is more important than ever today.

The College’s 775th anniversary is an opportunity to celebrate Univ’s people. This will manifest itself through events and activities in person and online across the year, for all members of the Univ community. We will send regular updates, so please make sure that you are signed up to our communications.

Details of events will be listed on the Univ website across the year, and via emails and publications.
We look forward to celebrating this special year with you.

Thank you for your support.
