Lizzie Daly (2017, Medicine – Pre-Clinical) has edited and self-published, alongside Pratyusha Saha, a medical student at the University of Birmingham, a free ebook guide to the Biomedical Admissions Test.

The BMAT guide forms part of Lizzie’s work with We Are Medics, a student-run organisation that supports medicine and dentistry applicants and students. Lizzie is an ambassador for Becoming a Doctor, which provides free support for aspiring and current medical students, and for the Association of Surgeons in Training.

She said, “It was important that the book was free and easily accessible so that particularly people from disadvantaged backgrounds could get the confidence and help needed to apply to medicine.”
