Wellbeing Week begins

Wellbeing WeekThis week is Wellbeing Week at Univ! A host of activities are on offer from yoga to making your own mini-sculptures. The first event is this afternoon at 5pm, when mental health charity SANE will be leading a workshop giving information on common mental health problems faced by students.

There are two opportunities to try out making your own minisculptures with Melissa Murray, the new Visitor in the Creative Arts, on Tuesday and Wednesday. Tuesday also sees a Charity Spa Night to raise money for BEAT,. No experience is necessary and all levels are welcome. The WCR is also hosting a yoga session on Wednesday, which is the perfect way to destress mid-week. All JCR and WCR members are welcome!

If you’re looking for something more energetic, a morning jog will take place in University Parks at 8am on Thursday. If a stroll is more to your taste, help walk some dogs with the SU around University Parks on Friday. To round off the week, there will be a movie night in the JCR on Sunday evening. Look out for a poll on the JCR Facebook page where you can choose what to watch.

You can find more information about Wellbeing Week on the JCR and WCR Facebook pages.
