Membership of the Univ community does not end when you graduate but lasts throughout your lifetime. Whether you want to keep in touch with other Old Members or the wider College community, donate to Univ, or simply be kept up to date with College news, the Development and Alumni Relations Office is on hand to help you stay connected.
In addition to our fundraising activities, we organise events throughout the year and, in conjunction with the Communications team, produce a number of print and online publications including The Martlet, Record and Univ Futures.
We hope that Univ will have a lifelong connection with its Old Members. As a valued member of our community, please update us with your current contact details using this form so that we can stay in touch.

Visit Univ
Old Members, along with their friends and family, are very welcome to visit the College. In order to make the most of your visit, please let us know when you plan to come (Development@univ.ox.ac.uk) in advance. This will enable us to check which areas of the College will be open at the time of your visit and make the porters aware that you are coming. Our opening hours are usually 9am – 12pm and 2pm – 5pm. Entry is via the High Street entrance and Lodge.
The Development, Communications & Alumni Relations Office is based at10 Merton Street and is staffed during working hours, Monday to Friday, with the exception of bank holidays and the Christmas and New Year period. Do get in touch if you would like to meet one of us during your visit as we are always keen to meet Old Members.
Dine with us
Old Members are warmly invited to dine at High Table with a guest during term time or join us for our special Alumni Formal Halls which take place once a term. Places at High Table or our Alumni Formal Hall can be booked via our events page, where you will find all the details including dates. Please note that bookings usually close 5 working days prior to the date of the Formal Hall.
Stay in College
Old Members are welcome to book overnight accommodation in College. In 2026 the special rates for our Old Members are £75 for a Single Room and £130 for a Double Room. This includes breakfast (Monday to Friday) or brunch (Saturday and Sunday) in Hall. Please be aware that availability can be limited, especially during term time.

Alternatively, Univ benefits from corporate rates for hotels in The Oxford Collection group, which includes the Old Bank Hotel and the Old Parsonage Hotel. Private Functions
University College offers a wonderful venue to organise your next reunion of family and friends, celebrate a significant birthday or mark a special anniversary. Get married in Chapel
Old Members are invited to get married in our Chapel. Please get in touch with our College Chaplain, Dr Andrew Gregory (Andrew.Gregory@univ.ox.ac.uk) to find out more. If you are thinking about holding your wedding breakfast or drinks reception in College, please contact our hospitality team, who will be happy to discuss the options with you.
Univ Virtual Backgrounds
We have compiled some of our favourite views from around the College for our Old Members to download and use as virtual backgrounds on video calls or as a picture background on your desktop or laptop. We hope that you will enjoy having a piece of Univ with you, wherever you are in the world. The image should pop up in your browser, and you can then right-click and select ‘save image as’ to download it to your computer. My Oxford Card (previously known as Oxford Alumni Card)
The My Oxford Card gives you access to a range of exclusive benefits and offers including discounts at local Oxford businesses as well as entry to colleges and libraries. If you already have an Oxford Alumni Card, you do not also need a My Oxford Card. More information here:
Lifelong learning
All Oxford alumni are entitled to apply for free admission to Oxford library services.
There are a number of free online resources available to alumni for further learning, including podcasts, the University of Oxford on iTunes, the Oxford Index (for access to Oxford’s digital academic content), and resources for developing IT skills.
In partnership with the Bodleian Library, all Oxford alumni receive remote access to the JSTOR collection of online journals.
Alumni can attend courses at the Department for Continuing Education, the Oxford University Language Centre, and the Ruskin School of Art and benefit from a discount on course fees. . Alumni are also entitled to attend some Oxford lectures and seminar.
