Professor Sarah Harper CBE has been appointed to Health Data Research UK’s Non-Executive Board. HDR is a biomedical informatics research institute led by the Medical Research Council.

Professor Harper is a Supernumerary Fellow in Gerontology and Co-Director of the Oxford Institute of Population Ageing. Sarah has also served on the Prime Minister’s Council for Science and Technology, which advises the Prime Minister on the scientific evidence for strategic policies and frameworks. Last year, Sarah was awarded a CBE  for services to Demography.
