Oxford Open Doors 2016

Oxford Open Doors logoOn 10 and 11 September, in collaboration with Oxford Preservation Trust and Oxford University, Univ will be taking part in the Oxford Open Doors weekend, which sees many of Oxford’s historic and iconic buildings opened to the public.

Univ will open its gates and offer the opportunity for visitors to see inside the oldest college in Oxford with its beautiful Chapel, Shelley Memorial and glorious 16th Century Dining Hall. Tours of the garden will take place every 30 minutes between 10am and noon, and 2 and 4pm, with no need to pre-book. There will also be choral recitals on 10 and 11 September between 10am and noon.

After touring College visitors can relax in the garden where our staff will be ready to greet you with Pimms and scones, there’s no need to book and these will be served from 10am to 4pm weather dependent.

There will also be an opportunity for visitors to treat themselves to a full cream tea with a selection of sandwiches, scones and cakes, a choice of teas and a glass of Champagne. Priced at £25 and with limited spaces pre-booking is essential, follow the links on the Oxford Preservation Trust website. Cream teas will take place on both days at 11am and 2.30pm in the garden (weather dependent) or in the Alington room in the event of inclement weather.
