Rupert Egerton-Smith piano recital

Rupert Egerton-SmithOpen to all members of the College

Wednesday, 11 February, 7pm
Holywell Music Room, Oxford

Join us at the Holywell Music Room for a piano recital by Rupert Egerton-Smith (1992, History) on Wednesday, 11 February 2026 at 7pm. This will be followed by a drinks reception at Univ.

Rupert Egerton-Smith studied History at Univ, before pursuing a career as a strategy consultant. In 2020, he made a major life transition to follow his passion for music and build a career as a pianist and composer. Rupert will perform Movements, a programme which explores piano music inspired by dance across four centuries. This is an opportunity to hear Rupert, a “pianist and musician of the highest calibre” (New York Concert Review), in the historic setting of the Holywell Music Room, the oldest custom built concert hall in Europe which opened in 1748.
