The USPGA (Univ Society Peripatetic Golf Association) Spring Meeting took place at Goring and Streatley Golf Club, Oxfordshire on 18 May 2026.

On Monday 18 May 2026 at Goring and Streatley Golf Club, 11 of Univ’s finest gathered at Goring and Streatley Golf Club for the USPGA Spring Meeting.  Following hot on the heels of the other USPGA event in Pennsylvania, so brilliantly won by England’s Aaron Rai, the course was set up with testing pin positions and, with a 20mph wind blowing, it was a stern test of skill.  Well done to Nigel Eady (1995 Chemistry) who scored a magnificent 39 points to win the trophy with David Bradbury(1992 History) runner-up.  John Shinkwin(1973 Physics) won the Longest Drive and Mike Shilling(1975 PPE) Nearest the Pin.  The golf was followed by a lovely lunch in the clubhouse.

In May 2027, the meeting will be at Epsom Golf Club, hosted by David Bradbury. All members of the Univ community are welcome.
