Univ Honorary Fellow Professor Christopher Pelling is to give this year’s Syme Lecture.

Professor Christopher Pelling FBA – an Honorary Fellow at Univ – will give the 2014 Syme Lecture. Professor Pelling currently holds the Regius Chair in Greek at Christ Church from which he is retiring at the end of the academic year. The lecture is entitled: “The Rhetoric of The Roman Revolution”.

All are welcome to attend. The lecture takes place in Wolfson College on Thursday, 6 November 2014 – 6pm to 7pm.
