Sustainability projects and training opportunities

sunflower with a bee on itSustainable Students Oxford (SSO) currently has three upcoming opportunities for student leadership and project management. As a part of their engagement programmes, they are calling for:

Student-led projects 
Lead environmental action in the University, college(s), or wider community! The Sustainability team can offer project resources including training, mentorship/networking, and a small budget. If you have a project idea, we would love to hear from you. Applications must be submitted by 23 November via this form.

Training for Environmental Project Lead  
Receive the tools to initiate and lead an environmental project as part of SSO (Sustainable Students Oxford), with our support. Support Green Impact staff teams to improve the sustainability performance of our University through environmental projects. Register to attend our upcoming training 16 November, 1.30-3pm online.

Training for sustainability campaign volunteers 
Become a sustainable leader in your college with Student Switch Off. Volunteer on an energy campaign. Engage your fellow students to take climate action. Register to attend our upcoming training 16 November, 12-1pm with this form.

Univ will continue reporting on sustainability initiatives from across College so please look out for these on our dedicated Sustainability at Univ page, our News Hub and social media channels – Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
