Congratulations are due to Univ’s Head Gardener Bruce Taylor, who was awarded the Oxford Mail Cup at the Oxford in Bloom Competitions for Outstanding Contribution to Oxford in Bloom.

Mrs Elizabeth Crawford, Domestic Bursar at Univ, said, “Bruce has been very committed to this annual competition and celebration of gardens in the city. He makes a huge contribution to our working lives by creating the gardens around us and this is recognition from a much wider audience (some of whom are and have been competitors of Bruce) of his talents and abilities. We congratulate him on this tremendous achievement.”

The garden at Univ was itself given a Merit which, considering the building work in College last spring and over the summer, is a superb achievement. Well done to the gardening team.
