The Gatehouse has seen a very busy last quarter and has averaged 371 visits a week from the homeless and vulnerably housed. We have been able to open throughout the recent severe weather because of our wonderful volunteers and our food group/donors have also braved the weather to ensure there is food delivered each session. We have started two new partnerships recently with Waste2Taste who are delivering cooking workshops that we can refer directly into and with SWAT who now cook and deliver additional hot food for the project on a Friday evening.

We are just as committed to raising funds for our core services and new development ideas and the project have signed up to two local sponsored events, Bike Oxford, which takes place on 20 May, and the Oxford Half Marathon, 7 October. For both events The Gatehouse will pay to register participants and all they need from you is name, DOB and address – for further details please contact Kat (E: katrinagatehouse@gmail.com)
