Jonathan Gaunt - Gale on Easements Jonathan Gaunt (1966, Mods and Greats – Literae Humaniores) published the 22nd edition of Gale on Easements (Sweet & Maxwell, December 2024). Paul Gibbard - The French Collector

Paul Gibbard published The French Collector: Journal and Letters of Theodore Leschenault, Botanist of the Baudin Expedition, his translation of a journal written by a French explorer who visited Australia in the early 1800s (UWA Publishing, February 2023).

Fred Harrison - The Human Project Fred Harrison (1970, PPE), Research Director of the London-based Land Research Trust, is to publish his magnum opus, The Human Project, in 2025. His first book, The Power in the Land (1983), predicted the economic crisis of 1992.

Philippa Malicka’s (2007, English Language and Literature) debut novel In Her Defence, a “jaw-dropping, page-turning courtroom drama”, is to be published in the US by Simon & Schuster and released in hardback May 2025 by Hodder & Stoughton in the UK.

John Pike - The Age of Firepower

John Pike (1973, PPE) has a number of books forthcoming with Pen & Sword Books: The Age of Firepower: Military Revolution 1600-1650 and Beyond (April 2025); Ending the Thirty Years War: Diplomacy, Mediation and the Westphalian Peace (September 2025) and a paperback edition of The Thirty Years War 1618-48 (February 2025).

Professor Mortimer Sellers (1980, Law) published the first full printed edition of the Encyclopedia of the Philosophy of Law and Social Philosophy, edited with Professor Stephan Kirste (Springer, 2024).

Lucy Steeds - The Artist Lucy Steeds (2015, World Literatures in English) published her debut novel The Artist (John Murray Press, January 2025) in the UK, US, Australia and New Zealand, and has so far been translated into Spanish and German. The book was longlisted for the 2025 Women’s Prize for Fiction and was a Radio 4 Book at Bedtime in April 2025. She is currently working on her second novel.
