2025 Equality and Diversity Lecture

Alexandra Wilson
Alexandra Wilson (2013, PPE) is to deliver the University of Oxford Faculty of Law’s Annual Equality and Diversity Lecture for 2024-25 based on her first book In Black and White: A Young Barrister’s Story of Race, Class, and Diversity in the Legal System. The event will be chaired by Iyiola Solanke, Jacques Delors Professor of European Union Law at the University of Oxford.
The event is open to the public and will be held at the Manor Road Lecture Theatre (hybrid) on Friday, 31 January 2025, 4-5.30pm (GMT). Further details about how to register can be found on the Faculty of Law website.
Alexandra Wilson is barrister, author and diversity campaigner based in London and is qualified as both an attorney in New York and a barrister in England and Wales. She is an associate tenant of 4PB. Alexandra specialises in matrimonial finance and child custody with an international element. She has extensive trial experience and has advocated in complex family law matters in both trial and appellate courts.
Alexandra’s second book The Witness, a legal thriller, was published in June 2024.
