More than 50 people turned out to watch Rebecca German (2017, Music), accompanied by Will Harmer from Worcester College, give the 4th annual Mendl-Schrama Prize Recital on Sunday, May 12 at 2pm. Rebecca’s folksong-inspired programme included music by Britten, Dvorak, Ravel and Grieg and was confidently sung and enthusiastically received.

Plans for a revised prize format are underway for next year, so no new prize was awarded, but it is hoped that the field will be widened for next academic year, in order to encourage more of Univ’s fine instrumentalists and singers to apply.
