Blue telephone - image by freepik 2The Development, Communications and Alumni Relations Office at Univ needs callers for the annual Telethon, which takes place between 22 June and 6 July 2026 at the end of Trinity term.

Apply today to be a student caller and enjoy the following benefits:

• £14.06 per hour
• Paid training, cost contribution towards accommodation and subsistence
• Professional skills and work experience to boost your CV and LinkedIn profile
• An opportunity to speak to Univ Old Members (alumni), from a broad range of professions
• Two days off for the Univ Ball! (unpaid)

A regular fixture in the College’s calendar, the Univ telethon raises vital funds for current and future generations of Univ students and academics: from providing bursaries and scholarships and supporting research to protecting historic College buildings and enhancing and modernising facilities and improving access for all. For more than twenty years, Univ students have taken part in telephone campaigns that have made an important contribution towards attracting essential philanthropic support for the College.

The training days will take place on 22 and 23 June 2026, from 9.30am-4.30pm on both days. This will be followed by a short calling session on training day two, from 6.30pm-8pm.

From Wednesday, 24 June through to Monday, 6 July. Generally, the call sessions will run as follows:
