On Tuesday 12 December, University College, Oxford will be holding a live major incident exercise involving the Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Services beginning at 6pm and ending at around 8.30pm.

The University of Oxford Risk and Resilience Team are involved, and all of the emergency services, Oxford University Security Services and the other Oxford colleges are aware of the exercise.

As part of the staged incident there will be a number of fire appliances located along the High Street outside the College and hoses will be run from hydrants, with fire service personnel in breathing apparatus travelling back and forth between the College and the appliances.

The phones in the Univ Lodge will be staffed for the duration of the exercise.
