Baroness Amos LG CH PC, Master of University College, has been featured in an exhibition of portrait photography by Ander McIntyre at the 2026 London Conference at Chatham House.

Chatham House, also known as the Royal Institute of International Affairs, held its eleventh London Conference on Thursday 9 July, which brought together leading voices from across foreign affairs, business, and academia to discuss the rapidly changing international order in security and in economics and to propose a route to order in an evolving world

Ander McIntyre is known for his work photographing individuals who have had a significant influence over the modern worlds. The exhibition, which was titled Shaping Global Order and curated by Joseph Osayande, showcased the extraordinary diversity of speakers in Chatham House’s history through a number of portraits. Those featured included current world leaders Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Alexander Stubb; Chatham House co-presidents Baroness Theresa May, Helen Clark and Baroness Amos and former world leaders Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, Jimmy Carter, Joe Biden, Jacinda Ardern and Julia Gillard; and prominent politicians including Hillary Clinton, Stacey Abrams and Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya.

Baroness Amos has been a co-President of Chatham House since May 2026.

During this year’s London Conference, Baroness Amos took part in the Presidents panel which highlighted the challenges and opportunities of a world order in flux. The speakers also discussed how democracies can build the political coalitions needed to act when the domestic foundations for international cooperation are weakening.
