Pay will be £29,566 per annum
University College is looking for a Commis Chef to join the busy Kitchen team. The post holder will be required to assist the kitchen brigade on the preparation and production of high-quality food for students, fellows and staff of the college. You will help to maintain the high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the Kitchen. You must have excellent work standards and team working skills.
This post is offered full time (40 hours per week). Suitable training will be provided for the successful candidate.

Café Chef

University College is seeking a Café Chef to join the friendly Café Team at its Univ North Site between the Woodstock and Banbury Roads.
Working closely with the Executive Chef and Front of House team, you will prepare and cook fresh breakfast and lunch dishes, ensuring consistently high standards of food quality, presentation, hygiene and customer service. You will also have the opportunity to support occasional special events and contribute to the development of our café offering.

Café Supervisor
Permanent, 40 hrs per week

University College, Oxford is seeking to appoint a talented and experienced Catering professional as their Café Supervisor. The post-holder will report to the Front of House Manager and Executive Chef.
You will lead by example and manage service delivery in the newly open Café to ensure excellent service from point of entry to departure (e.g., greeting, speed of service and food and beverage delivery, fulfilment of special requests etc). You will liaise with internal customers (the Kitchen, the Conference and Events team and other stakeholders) to ensure the functions they organise receive a consistent and excellent level of service.
This is an exciting time to be joining Univ and the role is an outstanding opportunity and challenge for a proven specialist. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, outstanding organisational skills and an ‘eye for detail’. S/he will have supervisory experience and the ability to coach others.
