How the Color Line Bends

Nina YancyDr Nina Yancy (2015, DPhil Politics) has written How the Color Line Bends: The Geography of White Prejudice in Modern America (Oxford University Press), which will be published in May 2022, based on her DPhil research.

Dr Yancy is a consultant at McKinsey & Company, where she serves clients on topics related to workforce and economic development, reskilling, and the Future of Work, with a particular emphasis on promoting racial equity. Recently, her work has focused on helping state and local governments respond to the economic effects of COVID-19 and maximize the impact of federal recovery funding.

Dr Yancy also is an active contributor to the McKinsey Institute for Black Economic Mobility on research topics including financial inclusion and Black entrepreneurship. Prior to joining McKinsey, She did her doctorate in political science at Univ, where she studied as a Rhodes Scholar.
