USPGA (Golf) Autumn Meeting
Thursday, 11 November 2021
Walton Heath Golf Club, near Walton-on-the-Hill, Surrey
We are delighted to invite all Univ Golfers to the Autumn USPGA (Univ Society Peripatetic Golf Association) Meeting at Walton Heath Golf Club where Robin Hollington QC (1974, Law) will be welcoming us on Thursday, 11 November.
The New Course shares the same open heathland setting as the Old and is a fine Championship course in its own right. It opened for play in 1907 as a nine hole layout, and extended to eighteen in 1913. The New stretches to 7,199 yards off the back tees, 6,648 yards off the medals, and has been ranked in the UK and Ireland’s Top 50 courses for more than ten years. This is a serious golf course.
The format for the day includes coffee and bacon rolls upon arrival from 8.30am, a Stableford competition followed by a three-course lunch in the clubhouse dining room afterwards.
The cost of £150 per player covers the full programme.
To participate, please email Julie Boyle by Friday, 1 November. There are limited places for this event so please book early to avoid disappointment. Tee times will begin at 9am.
Weather permitting, buggies are generally available from the pro shop but should be booked in advance. Should you wish to book a buggy, please call the pro shop on T: 01737 812152.
We very much hope you will be able to join us.
