775 Univ Society London Dinner
Saturday 23 November 2024, 7-11.30pm
The RAC, Pall Mall, London
Old Members and Friends of Univ are warmly invited to the 775 Univ Society London Dinner, held on the 23 November 2024 at the Royal Automobile Club (RAC), Pall Mall.
In this significant anniversary year, the College is focusing on the people that make up the past, present and future of Univ. The Univ Society London Dinner provides an opportunity for the Univ community to build connections across the generations, all whilst enjoying dinner in the heart of London. This year’s guest speaker is Univ Old Member, Ambassador Uran Ferizi, the Albanian Ambassador to the UK and Ireland.
This event includes a drinks reception, three course meal with wine, and a bar (card only) after dinner until 11.30pm.
This year’s dinner will take place in the Mountbatten Room of the RAC, Pall Mall. Patroned by King Charles III, the Grade II* building has been an iconic part of Pall Mall for over a hundred years and provides the perfect location in which to celebrate the 775 Univ Society London Dinner.
Our Guest Speaker:
In January, Uran Ferizi (2003, MMaths) became the new Albanian Ambassador to London.
Following his studies at Univ, Uran Ferizi undertook a PhD at UCL in Computer Science / Neuroscience. He then embarked on an academic career at New York University where he was a Postdoctoral Fellow followed by time at Stanford as a Research Scientist. At Stanford School of Medicine, he focused on changes in the brain’s microstructure due to pathologies such as addiction and dementia, working with mathematical and computational models.

The vast majority of Old Members who come back to College and Univ events held at other venues are a great pleasure to welcome back. However, sadly, a small minority of alumni do not always behave in a manner that is respectful or appropriate to our staff. For that small minority, we would like to draw their attention to Univ’s Alumni Conduct Policy.
