Ephemera of Christopher Hughes (1918-2005)

Christopher John Hughes (1918–2005) came up to University College in 1936 and read PPE. He became a political scientist, specialising in the study of Switzerland, and became successively a lecture and professor at the University of Leicester. An obituary for him is given in the 2006 issue of the “University College Record”.
These documents, which include several items ephemera and photographs relating to the University College Boat Club, were given to the archives by his nephew in September 2010 as Accession No. 921.

Catalogued in September 2010.
