University College is delighted to be hosting a one day teachers’ conference on Friday 19 January 2018.
This conference is aimed at those who are in positions to inspire able students to aim high or those involved in supporting students in decisions about their futures. The programme will feature talks on teaching and research by tutors from a range of disciplines together with sessions on identifying and supporting competitive applicants by Univ’s Senior Tutor and Schools Liaison and Access Officer. The conference will be a valuable opportunity for networking and professional development.
The College hugely values its links with teachers across the country. This conference is intended to support you as you help your students make the right choices for their futures. We hope, furthermore, that it will set up a useful dialogue between teachers and our University in the context of a rapidly changing school and Higher Education environment. We are sure there is a great deal we can learn from you!
Please see the provisional programme which outlines the day. To express interest in a place on this day for you, or another colleague at your school, please fill in this booking form. Please contact Nelli by email (email@example.com) if you would like an editable version of the form. Please note that, while we would like to host all respondents, in the case of oversubscription we may not be able to. Places may be limited to one representative per school, in which case places will go to the most senior staff member. Places may also be prioritised for schools with which the University has had less frequent contact or schools in Univ’s ‘link region’.
Please don’t hesitate to contact Nelli by phone (01865 286565) or email if you have any questions.
