Ever since William of Durham’s bequest to the College in 1249, Univ has been dependent on the generosity and loyalty of its donors. More than 750 years later, philanthropy remains central to the College, funding our students, tutors and Fellows, repairing and maintaining our buildings, and supporting clubs and societies.
We are committed to recognising this generosity and to treating all of our donors with discretion, consideration and respect.
Our new Donor Charter underpins our commitment to engage with our donors and sets down the standards they can expect from us.
The Donor Charter PDF outlines our new programme for updating our donors on developments at Univ, focussing on student support, building projects, and academic posts and research. You will also find information on our new Donor Day in 2021, an opportunity for all our donors to meet current students, tour around the College and see the impact of their gifts. You can also find changes to our regular giving and lifetime giving clubs and some important cost-saving administrative measures to maximise the impact of your gift.
